Laila Peak Expedition
The Laila Peak Expedition is an exciting high-altitude mountaineering adventure to Laila Peak (6,096 m), one of the most beautiful and recognizable peaks in the Hushe Valley of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. Famous for its distinctive spear-shaped summit and elegant snow-covered profile, Laila Peak rises dramatically above the surrounding glaciers and valleys of the Karakoram, offering a challenging yet rewarding climbing experience. The expedition begins in Islamabad and continues toward Skardu, followed by a scenic journey through the Shigar and Hushe valleys before trekking toward Laila Peak Base Camp. Climbers travel through remote mountain landscapes, glaciers, rocky trails, and alpine terrain while gradually acclimatizing and preparing for the summit attempt. Although lower than Pakistan's major 7,000- and 8,000-meter peaks, Laila Peak presents technical climbing challenges and requires good physical fitness, previous mountaineering experience, technical skills, and strong preparation for high-altitude conditions. With experienced expedition leaders, professional mountain guides, local porters, camping facilities, and comprehensive logistical support, the Laila Peak Expedition provides an unforgettable opportunity to explore the spectacular Karakoram and climb one of Pakistan's most iconic peaks.
