Home | Gasherbrum II Expedition

The Gasherbrum-II Expedition is an exciting high-altitude mountaineering adventure to the summit of Gasherbrum II (8,035 m), the 13th-highest mountain in the world and one of the most accessible 8,000-meter peaks in the Karakoram. Located in the spectacular Gasherbrum massif of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan, the mountain offers a challenging yet rewarding climbing experience, combining steep snow and ice slopes, high-altitude terrain, and breathtaking views of the surrounding Karakoram giants. The expedition begins in Islamabad before traveling to Skardu and continuing through the famous Baltoro Glacier toward Concordia, where climbers are surrounded by some of the world's highest peaks, including K2, Broad Peak, Gasherbrum I, and Gasherbrum II. From the trek to Base Camp, climbers gradually acclimatize and establish higher camps before making their final summit attempt. With experienced expedition leaders, high-altitude support staff, professional logistical arrangements, and careful acclimatization, the Gasherbrum-II Expedition provides an unforgettable opportunity for experienced mountaineers to take on one of Pakistan's legendary 8,000-meter peaks.
