Ultar Sar Peak Expedition

The Ultar Sar Peak Expedition is an exciting high-altitude mountaineering adventure to Ultar Sar (7,388 m), one of the most impressive peaks in the Hunza Valley of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. Rising dramatically above the historic village of Karimabad, Ultar Sar is renowned for its steep ridges, technical climbing sections, challenging glacier terrain, and spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding Karakoram. The expedition begins with a journey from Islamabad to Hunza before continuing toward the mountain's remote Base Camp. Climbers gradually acclimatize to the increasing altitude while trekking through rugged valleys, glaciers, and high-altitude terrain before establishing higher camps for the summit attempt. The mountain demands excellent physical fitness, previous mountaineering experience, technical climbing skills, and strong mental preparation. With experienced expedition leadership, high-altitude support staff, camping facilities, climbing logistics, and careful acclimatization, the Ultar Sar Expedition offers a remarkable opportunity to explore the dramatic Karakoram and take on one of Hunza's most challenging peaks.
