Passu Peak Expedition
The Passu Peak Expedition is an exciting high-altitude mountaineering adventure to Passu Peak (7,478 m), one of the spectacular peaks of the Passu Valley in Hunza, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. Surrounded by the dramatic peaks and glaciers of the Karakoram, Passu Peak offers a challenging climbing experience featuring steep snow and ice terrain, exposed ridges, technical sections, and breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding Hunza Valley. The expedition begins in Islamabad and continues toward Gilgit and Hunza, followed by a scenic journey to Passu and a trek toward the mountain's Base Camp. Climbers gradually acclimatize as they move through remote alpine landscapes, glaciers, and rugged mountain terrain before establishing higher camps for the summit attempt. The expedition requires excellent physical fitness, previous high-altitude climbing experience, technical mountaineering skills, and strong mental preparation.
