Starting from the village of Askole, a scenic three-day trek leads you to the base camp of the iconic Ogre and Latok peaks. Situated at an elevation of 4,200 meters, this base camp is surrounded by lush greenery and abundant fresh water, with a terrain shaped somewhat like a soccer field. The Latok massif is accessible from both this route and via the Panmah Glacier. The main Latok summits include Latok-I (7,145m), Latok-II (7,108m), Latok-III (6,940m), Latok-IV (6,456m), and Latok-IV SE (6,450m). Nearby peaks in the area include Baintha Brakk SE (6,960m), Choktoi (6,166m), Lakpila Brakk (5,500m), Spaldang (5,590m), and the Biacherahi Towers (5,900m).
