The trek to Pastore Base Camp (4780m) offers breathtaking views of several towering 7000m peaks, along with two prominent 8000m summits—Broad Peak (8047m) and K2 (8611m)—which appear remarkably close from the camp, located in the heart of the Karakoram range.
