1. Payment Methods

All payments should be made via bank transfer to the following account:

2. Booking Requirements

To complete your booking, we require:

• A clear copy of your passport (photo page)
• One recent passport-sized photograph
• Completed booking form signed by each participant
• Completed official application forms for permit processing

These documents should be emailed to our office at documents@climbingkarakorum.com

3. Permit Processing

Participants must submit all required documents at least 6 weeks before the trip start date. The permit approval process with the Gilgit-Baltistan Council typically takes 4-5 weeks.

Important: Once permits are issued, no refunds can be processed by the Gilgit-Baltistan Council.

Note: We cannot be held responsible for itinerary changes due to factors beyond our control including weather, natural disasters, transportation delays, or political unrest.

6. Payment Policy

• A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking
• The remaining balance must be paid upon arrival in Pakistan
• The deposit covers initial trip preparations and documentation

7. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing. Refunds will be processed as follows:

No refunds will be given if you leave during the trip for any reason, including health issues or external circumstances.

8. Assumption of Risk

Participants acknowledge that mountain activities involve inherent risks including:

• Altitude-related illnesses
• Extreme weather conditions
• Remote locations with limited medical facilities
• Potential accidents during climbing or trekking

By participating, you accept these risks and agree that Climbing Karakorum cannot be held liable for such inherent dangers.

9. Travel Insurance

All participants must obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering:

• Trip cancellation
• Medical expenses and emergency evacuation
• Lost or damaged baggage
• Personal liability

Proof of insurance must be provided at least 30 days before departure.

10. Privacy Policy

We collect personal information solely for trip organization purposes. Your data will:

• Never be shared with third parties without consent
• Only be used for your booking and necessary permits
• Be stored securely according to data protection standards

11. Complaints

If you have any concerns during your trip:

1. Inform your guide immediately to allow resolution
2. Submit formal complaints in writing within 14 days of trip completion

We will investigate all complaints and respond within 30 days.

12. Additional Charges

Our standard packages include:

• Twin-share accommodation
• Shared tents during expeditions

Single supplements are available at additional cost.

13. Price Revisions

We reserve the right to adjust prices due to:

• Changes in government fees or taxes
• Exchange rate fluctuations
• Significant increases in operational costs

You will be notified of any price changes before final payment.

14. Unforeseen Circumstances

If we cancel a trip due to events beyond our control (natural disasters, conflicts, etc.):

• We will offer an alternative trip of similar value
• If alternatives are unsuitable, we will refund payments minus non-recoverable costs
• Additional expenses incurred by participants are their responsibility

15. Client Responsibilities

Participants must:

• Follow guide instructions at all times
• Respect local laws and customs
• Maintain appropriate behavior

We reserve the right to remove participants for unlawful or disruptive behavior without refund.

16. Travel Disruptions

Mountain travel may be affected by:

• Weather-related delays
• Road closures
• Flight cancellations

We appreciate your patience and understanding in such situations.

17. Emergency Evacuation

For high-altitude expeditions:

• Participants must provide a $15,000 USD emergency evacuation deposit
• This will be refunded after deducting a $300 service fee if unused
• Detailed evacuation procedures will be provided before departure
