For the Rupal Face, the journey begins from Gilgit or along the Karakoram Highway (KKH) to Tarashing, a lush alpine village at the end of the jeep track. From there, it typically takes two days to trek to the Rupal Base Camp. The route to the Diamer Base Camp is the longest, requiring about three days of trekking. The third route is the Raikot Face, where travelers drive to Raikot Bridge on the KKH and then transfer to local jeeps heading to Jail, a small settlement in Tato Valley near the base of Fairy Meadows. This itinerary covers all three faces of Nanga Parbat, including high pass crossings along the way. It can be adapted or shortened based on your available time, with multiple exit points along the trek.
